Elizabeth Watson was born at the end of 1870 at Jamberoo, NSW. She was the daughter of George Watson and Ann Gay.[1]
She married Edward Samuel Pryce in 1892, probably at Kangaroo Valley.[2]
She passed away while on holiday at New Brighton, on the 6th of May, 1943,[3][4] and was buried at Alphadale Cemetery, Wollongbar, NSW.[5]

The death occurred suddenly, while on holidays at New Brighton early yesterday morning, of Mrs. Elizabeth Pryce (72), wife of Mr. E. S. Pryce, one of the best known residents of the Tregeagle district. Although Mrs. Pryce had recently, been receiving medical attention, her death yesterday was unexpected. Mr. and Mrs. Pryce had lived in the Richmond River district for over 30 years--for 10 years at Billinudgel, and for the past 23 years at Tregeagle. The deceased had always been a keen worshipper and adherent of the Church of England, and actively associated with charitable and public organisations. The remains were brought to Lismore yesterday afternoon and the deceased will be buried at Wollongbar today.
In addition to her husband, two sons and six daughters survive. The sons are Armond (Tregeagle) and Thomas (Boorie) and the daughters are Mesdames T. Haigh (Terranora), L. G. Stevenson (Billinudgel), W. H. Flowers jnr. (Murwillumbah), A. K. Sawtell (Leycester), N. Wilson (Brisbane) and G. Schweitzer (Billinudgel). The funeral will leave St. Peter's Church of England, Tregeagle, to day after a service commencing at 11.30 a.m.

A representative congregation attended the service in St. Peter's Church of England, Tregeagle, for the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Pryce, who died suddenly at New Brighton on Thursday. Many were unable to gain admission to the church when Rev. H. J. Buttrum conducted the service. Mr. Buttrum paid a tribute to the life and character of Mrs. Pryce and spoke of her devotion to the church.
Mrs. Pryce was buried in Wollongbar cemetery, where Mr. Buttrum also officiated. Miss Francis Blake officiated at the organ. The pall bearers were Messrs. Armond and Thomas Pryce (sons), T. H. Haig, W. H. Flowers, L. G. Stephenson and A. Sawtell. Wreaths were carried by Messrs. G. Wallace (nephew), G. Schweitzer (son-in-law), G. Waddell and A. V. Hermon. Mrs. Pryce is survived by her husband, two sons and six daughters. Six sisters— Mrs. J. Harder and Mrs. S. Sinclair (Lismore), Mrs. C. Boucher (Nowra), Mrs. A. Cavanough (Wollongbar), Mrs. G. Worland (Sydney) and Mrs. G. L'Estrange ; (Brisbane)—and five brothers— Messrs. Jim (Kangaroo Valley), Tom (Berry), Christie and Herb (Nimba) and Fred Watson (Sydney)—also survive. One son predeceased her. There are 34 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Will Riley and Son.
