Biography
Augustus was born during 1854, in Harmony, Johnson County, Arkansas.[1]
He moved with his family from Johnson County, Arkansas. to Greenville, Texas. As an adult he owned and operated the Watson Hotel until it burned in 1891.
Augustus married his beloved wife, Virginia Ballard about 1877. They had at least 2 children: Anetta Watson, b. 1878 and Thomas Earl Watson, b. 1880
Augustus Bean Watson passed away with pneumonia during 1882, in Greenville, Hunt County Texas.
