Biography

Was in his father's household in Livingston in the 1850 Census.

In 1870 he was married and living in Livingston with a wife, Mary, aged 19 and born in Arkansas, and a child: Lewis, age 0.

In 1880, he was widowed farmer living in Livingston with two sons, 9 year-old Louis, and 7 year-old Joseph.

In 1900, he was living with wife Ida, age 36, and children: Samuel T, Mary R E, and Laura A, George, and Norris--aged 17, 13, 8, 6, and 3 respectively.

In 1910, he 66 and still in Livingston. He was married to 44 year-old Ida, and living with her and children: Torrence, age 25; Rosa, age 22; Lollia, age 17; George, age 15; Norris, age 13; and Walter, age 8.

Some sources suggest he was married multiple times: Sarah Eleanor Summers, Mary E. Ferguson, and Maria Isabela Cooper. Fought in the Civil War?

Buried at Felder Cemetery, in Livingston Parish.

George was born after 1840.
