Biography
John was born about 1843. He is the son of Peter Watt and Janet White. [1][2]
In 1868 John married Margaret Wood, at Whitburn.[3]
In 1881, the family lived at Balbackie Farm, in the parish of Shotts, Lanarkshire. They had at least 6 children, Archibald (10), John (8), William (6), Jane Laurie (4), Janet White (2), & Peter (3mths). John's occupation was listed as "Farmer of 100 Acres 22 Arable".[4]
John died at Balbackie Farm on the 6th of June, 1905.[5]
