Biography

James Watt was born in Abbeygreen, Lesmahagow, Scotland, United Kingdom on the 20th January 1891 to Mary Watt (1861-1903) and according to family lore, Archibald Wilson (1865-). However Archibald was not recorded as the father on the birth certificate.

James Married Rachel Ballantine Cuthbertson (1889-1950), the daughter of David Cuthbertson (1856-1931) and Margaret Notman (1855-1931) in Larkhall, Scotland on the 9th March 1912.

He was alive during the Boar War (1899-1902), World War One (1914-1918), the Russian Revolution (1917-1923) and World War Two (1939-1945).

James died aged 69 around 1960
