Biography

Agnes was born in 1847.

John Watt 38 arrived with his wife Sarah 38 and their children: Alexander 16, Mary 15, Jane 13, Sarah 11, Agnes 8, John 6, Elizabeth 4, and Isabella 1, arrived in Tasmania on 14 Oct 1855 from Liverpool on 'Conway'. ^[1]

Agnes Watt 22 married Samuel Alexander Reid 22, shoemaker, on 24 May 1869 in Hobart. They were married in the residence of the bridegroom. John Watt and Elizabeth Watt witnessed the marriage. ^[2]

Agnes Reid died aged 90 years. Last known residence: St Helens Hospital, Hobart. She was buried on 12 Dec 1937 in Cornelian Bay Cemetery. ^[3]
