To date, no evidence has been located as to Mary's birth name. It is speculated that IF the family used the typical naming order of their time, then their first son was named John after the father of Alexander Sinclair. The second son would be named after the the grandfather of Alexander, so the name Wayman is probably not be from the mother's (Mary) family. [1]
Birth date is estimated from the birth of the first child about 1708.
Birth place is thought to possibly be Stafford County, Virginia, but not sourced.
