This "Unknown" Weathersbee is a stand-in for the uncertainty surrounding the parents of Lucretia Weathersbee and Catherine Weathersbee, who are known to be grandchildren of Thomas Weathersbee and Lucy Burwell.
They are known as such by virtue of the last will of John J. Weathersbee of Martin County, executed on 3 April 1810, in which named his nieces Cathren [Battle?] and Lucrecie Sherrod.
Lucretia was the wife of Robert Sherrod IV. Catherine is otherwise unidentified.
The identity of their parents remains uncertain, but since John J. Weathersbee was a bachelor, they must have been daughters of one of his siblings.
The name of Lucretia and Robert Sherrod's son, "William Robert Weathersbee Sherrod" suggests the father of Catherine and Lucretia may have been named Robert.
Note: Although this profile represents their Weathersbee parent as male, it is conceivable that it was their mother, rather than father, who was John's sibling.[1]
