Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 oclock at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Leland Pierce, for Mrs. Elizabeth Webb Valkinburg, who died early Tuesday morning. Mrs. Valkinburg, who was born in Logan, was nearly seventy-Five years old.
Six years after her marriage in 1880, they moved to Nelsonville where they has since made their home. In failing health for a number of years, she grew rapidly worse following the death of her husband two weeks ago and on Monday was removed to the home of her daughter.
Her husband, the late Isaac Valkinburg, and three children preceded her in death. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Lucy Pierce, Mrs. Freda Hellyer, Mrs. Gladys Pierce, Lem and Leroy, all of Nelsonville; Mrs. Pertina Cunningham, Columbus; Gilbert of Detroit; Max of Willard, Ohio; and Raymond of Phoenix, Arizona, 31 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Reverend Lloyd Evans will conduct the service and burial will be made at Greenlawn Cemetery.
