When Sarah Webster was born on December 28, 1685, in Newbury, Massachusetts, her father, John, was 29, and her mother, Bridget, was 34. She married Thomas Bartlett on February 14, 1711, in Salisbury, Massachusetts. They had nine children during their marriage. She died on January 17, 1726, in her hometown at the age of 40, and was buried in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

(30) Thomas Bartlett 4, born in Newbury Aug. 13, 1681. He was a tanner, and lived in Newbury. He married Sarah Webster of Salisbury Feb. 14, 1710-1 ; and she died Jan. 17, 1726-7. He died May 4, 1744. His estate was valued at £4830. He owned land in Falmouth (now Portland) and Narragansett Township No. I (now Buxton), Maine, and in Kingston, N. H. Among his local possessions was Deer island in the Merrimack river, which he bought in 1727.
