Biography
Salina was born about 1833 to Matthews Wedgeworth and Elizabeth Eakins. She died in 1916. [1]
In the 1850 census Salina (age 14) was in Marshall, Marshall, Alabama, United States. She and her siblings are living with their uncle John Eakin, widowed husband of their aunt Matilda Wedgeworth. Their mother is deceased and their father is in jail in Morgan county, Alabama, charged with her murder. [2]
