Israel Weed was born on 12 Apr 1725 in Stamford, Connecticut to Benjamin Weed and Mary Pennoyer. He married Abigail Waterbury on 3 Jan 1750 at Fairfield Co, Connecticut. Children:

"Weed, Israel, late of Stamford, will dated May 2, 1791, probated June 2, 1795, mentions his wife Abigail and children Abigail White, Sarah Clock and Israel, and heirs to Jacob, a deceased son. Executor his son Israel. Witnesses Benjamin Weed, Jr., John Dean and Reuben Scofield, page 326. Inventory taken June 22, 1795, by Nathaniel Webb and Benjamin Weed, and filed May 4, 1795, page 361. Aug. 4, 1795, order to advertise for claims, page 344. Aug. 26, 1796, account filed, and distribution ordered to his widow and children according to his will, page 400.
