By instrument dated April 8, 1714, William Weeks, Weaver and Mary his wife, and Ebenezer Maudsley, Weaver, and Hannah his wife, both William and Hannah being children of John Weeks, late of Dorchester, Husbandman, deceased, conveyed an undivided 3/4 interest in a 4.5 ac tract of land to Samuel Jones, Jr. of Dorchester, Yeoman. The recitals in the Deed states that William Weeks inherited a 50% undivided interest in the lands, Hannah Maudsley inherited a 25% interest in the lands, and Sarah Weeks, their sister inherited at 25% interest in the lands.[6]
By instrument dated September 1, 1714, William Weeks, Weaver, and Mary his wife, of Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts, conveyed "all of my Lands and common rights that doth in right descend to me from my Honoured Father and Grandfather John and William Weeks, late of Dorchester, which I have not sold and conveyed away" to Ebenezer Maudsley of the same town.[7]
By instrument dated October 4, 1714, William Weeks of the Township of Dorchester in the County of Suffolk, New England, Weaver, as the attorney for his sister Sarah Weeks of Wrentham, Spinster, both children of John Weeks, late of Dorchester, deceased, Intestate, conveyed all of Sarah Weeks' quarter part share in a 4.5 ac tract of land which was part of a 20 ac tract of land the Township of Dorchester whereon "our Father John Weeks died seized. . ."[8]
By instrument dated April 19, 1720, William Weeks of Medfield, Suffolk Massachusetts Bay, Weaver, conveyed one half interest in a dwelling house in Medfield and adjoning "swampy" and other land formerly owned by John Hamant, deceased, to to Lieut. Samuel Smith of Medflield, Husbandman, of the same town. The deed contains a covenant that William Weeks came into ownership of the dwelling and lands "being the whole share of my mother in the house the house and lands of the said John Hamant, deceased". Mary M. Weeks wavied her right of dower. [9]
