Elizabeth was born before 1775. She was the daughter of Jonathan Weldon and Mary Hanks. She passed away in 1850. ^[1]

Elizabeth married Silvang (Silvaney) Gardner on 25 Jan 1785 in Pittsylvania, Virginia.^[2]

In the 1820 census, Elizabeth and Sylvang are living in Pittsylvania, Virginia. Only the name of the head is recorded. ^[3]

In the 1830 census, Elizabeth and her husband Sylvang are living in Pittsylvania. Living with them are four other people, only the head of the household is listed by name in this census. The other four would be their children and possibly one of the children's spouse. ^[4]

In the 1850 census, Elizabeth is 80 living in Chatham, Pittsylvania, Virginia. She is living with her son Sylvang 45 and three of her grandchildren James 18, Mary, 15 and Narcissa 13. Elizabeth and her son were both widowed. ^[5]
