Text: This indenture made and entered into on this the 23th day of July, 1872, between John B. Wirght and Cynthia, his wife, of the County of Warren and State of Mississippi, parties of the first, part and Martha J. Bolls of the County of Hinds and state aforesaid, the party of the second part. Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars lawful money to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part and to her Heirs and assigns the following real estate to wit: The one undivided one half interest in the lots numbered. East half of lot No. 14 and lots 25, 26, 27 and 28 situate lying and being in the town of Warrenton, county of Warren and State of Mississippi, being the interest of parties of the first part in the said lots of Mary W. Steed deceased, who died intestate, leaving as her sole Heir at law her Son, the said John B. Wright and her two Grandchildren, the said Martha J. Bolls and her Brother Benjamin J. Oliver, who were the sole surviving children of a deceased Daughter of said Mary M. Steed, deceased. To have and to hold the said undivided one half interest in said lots, with the rights and privileges thereto unto the said parties of the second part and to her Heirs and Assigns in fee simple absolute and the said parties of the first part for themselves and their Heirs and administrators do covenant to forever warrant and defend the right title and possession of the estate hereby conveyed unto said party of the second part and to her Heirs and Assigns against any and all persons claiming or to claim the same either at law or equity. Text: This deed made and entered into this the 18th day of June 1853 by and between John B. Wright of the first part and Cynthia Wright of the second part all of the County of Warren and State of Mississippi witnessed: That whereas said party of the first part owes to and is justly indebted to party of the second part in the sum of four thousand four hundred and forty five dollars ($4,445.40) and forty cents, and whereas said party of the first part is still further indebted to Mrs. M. E. Henry and Mrs. Sallie Gibson in the sum of (4000.00) each which is evidenced by the two promissory notes of the said party of the first part each for the sum of $1000.00 and the payment of which said last mentioned promissory notes is hereby assured by party of the second part, now therefor this deed witnessed that for and in consideration of ten dollars cash in hand by said party of the second the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, said party of the first part has this day granted, bargained, sold and conveyed unto said party of the second part, the following described tract or Parcells of land lying and situated in said County of Warren and State of Mississippi, to wit; The w1/2 of section 32, Lots 6, 7, and 8 and the N.E.1/4 section 33 and Lots 1 & 2in Section 42 in Township 14 Range 3 East, also all that part of Section 47, T 14 R 3E bounded as follows: Beginning at the N. E. corner of section 43 in same township and range from set post, thence a red oak bears W 17 1/2 DEGS. E. 35 links marked XIII to red elm N 33 3/4 E. 20 links marked XIII running N. 73 DEGS. W 31 chains, 55 links to a white oak, thence N. 25 DEGS, E. 40 chains to North post corner of section 47 set post poplar N. 57 Degs. Text: In the Chancery Court of Warren County, Mississippi In Vacation. In re the last Will and Testament of, Cinthia E. Wright, Deceased. Your petitioner John B. Wright who is a Citizen and resident of Warren County, Mississippi, would respectfully show unto your Honor as follows, to wit. That one Cinthia E. Wright late a citizen and resident of said county and state, departed this life at her home in said county on the 29th day of May, A. .D,1904. That before her death, to-wit, on the 14th day of May, 1903, she made and executed in writing her last will and testament, which is herewith filed marked exhibit A. to and is made a part of this petition. That said last will and Testament was was signed, published and de-clared by said testatrix to be her last will and testament, in the presence of H. W. Blackmore, Upton H. Miller, and Henry C. Rollison, each of whom signed the same as witnesses thereto at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other. That at the time of signing said last will and testament said testatrix was over the age of twenty one years and of sound mind, memory and understanding and was mentally capable of making a will. Your petitioner being the sole devisee under said will, herewith propounds the same for probate. Premises considered your petitioner prays that said last will and testament be established and declared to be the last will and testament of said Mrs. Cinthia E. Wright, deceased, and as such be admitted to probate, And as in duty bound your petitioner will ever pray etc. John B. Wright Sworn to and subscribed before me this the 6th day of June, A. D. 1904.
