Henry Welter was born in 1735. Henry Welter passed away in 1839.[1] The DAR lists death 25 May 1835.

Served in the Revolutionary War from New Jersey, Roxbury, Morris Co, enlisting in May 1775 and serving for three years in a New Jersey Regiment under Colonel John H. Helme or Holme. Applied for a pension S3471 at the age of 99.

Settled at Foxhill New Jersey as a farmer, where he died at the age of 104.

Served as a drummer in NJ regiment during Revolutionary War (v-134-p91-DAR linage Bk & Stryker-p482 (spelled Walter) Veterans Administration Office- Revolutionary War Claim for pension file s.3471:DAR278645
