Tabitha (Westcott) Parker was born in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island in 1747 to Nathan Westcott and Mary Rutenburg Westcott: "Westcott, Tabitha, of Nathan and Mary, Dec 17 1747"

She married John Parker, son of John Parker and Elizabeth Low Parker, in Scituate, Providence County: "Parker, John, and Tabitha Westcott, both of Warwick; m. by Elder Reuben Hopkins, Jan 1 1769." The couple had children - among them Elizabeth, Nathan, Charles, John, Stephen, Damaris, Nancy, and George Washington Parker.
John and Tabitha Parker were residing in Scituate by 1774 - at the time of the Census of the State of Rhode Island, 1774. They lived there most of their lives.
John Parker died 10 February 1832 in Scituate, Rhode Island at the age of 85 years. His wife, Tabitha, died in Scituate 10 months later - 3 December 1832.
She is buried in Rockland Cemetery, Scituate, Providence County, Rhode Island.
