Ida May Wheaton was born on January 9, 1863 in Midgic, New Brunswick.[1] She was the daughter of David Wheaton and Frances Richardson. She spent her early years in Westmorland Parish, Westmorland County, New Brunswick. By 1881, the family had moved to Sackville Parish, where they lived near Frances' sister, Nancy (Richardson) Estabrooks, and her family.
Later that year, on September 21, 1881, Ida married her cousin, Frederick.[2] They had (at least) 5 children.
Ida died on July 11, 1944 in Sackville, New Brunswick.[3]
