Thomas was born in 1830. He was the son of William Wheelock and Harriet Porter.
Thomas married Mary Ann McCoy 25 May 1852 in Haydenville, New Hampshire. Thomas and Mary Ann had the following children:
Thomas served as a private and corporal in the 95th Ohio Infantry, Company K. He was captured in Tupelo, Mississippi on 1864-07-14 and was held at Andersonville Prison. He passed away 22 November 1864 shortly after being released.[1]
