James was born in 1896. He is the son of James Whenham and Sarah Clark.[1]

James served during the War in the Canadian Army Services Corps. from 1917 to 1919.[2]

He married Laura Churchill in 1921.[3]

Teaching Career

Following the war, he served as the Principal of Isabella School (1922-1925), Decker School (1925), Arden School (1925-1927), and Bowsman School (1927-1930).[4]

Robin, there is no Canadian Army for WWI. It was the Canadian Expeditionary Force, so please use that as the branch in the template.Thanks! (I know, templates still baffle me, especially military ones! I'm still figuring it out myself.)
