Biography

Lydia Whipple was born at Grafton, Massachusetts on August 10, 1747, daughter of James Whipple and Sarah Adams. ^{[1] [2]}

Lydia married Samuel Hall on December 18, 1766 and the family moved to Spencer, Massachusetts about 1770. Samuel was born at Grafton on October 25, 1742, son of Jonathan and Thankful Hall. ^{[1] [3] [4]}

Samuel died on January 10, 1814. ^{[1] [3] [4] [5]}

His widow Lydia declined to administer his estate and his son Moses Hall was appointed, administrator on January 31, 1815. ^[6]
