Biography

David Whitaker was born about 1820 in Tennessee, United States, son of David Eugene Whitaker (~1793–1854) and Nancy Lott (~1790–1847).

David (31) married Annie Whitaker (20) (born in 1831 in Tennessee; daughter of Robert Whitaker and Elizabeth Whitaker) in 1852 in Cookeville, Putnam, Tennessee, USA.

In the 1850 census David (age 30) was in White, Tennessee, United States.[1] David Wh* 30, Nancy Wh* 27, James M Wh* 10, Blanch J Wh* 8, Margarett E Wh* 6, Amanda A Wh* 4, Nancy E Wh* 4, William L Wh* 3, David C Wh* 1, Rebecca Dickenson 24.

In the 1860 census David (age 40) was at 5th District, Putnam, Tennessee, United States.[2] David Whitaker 40, Annie Whitaker 29, Nancy E Whitaker 14, Amanda A Whitaker 14, William T Whitaker 12, David C Whitaker 10, Crocket Whitaker 4, Martha A Whitaker 2, Pleasant Whitaker 1.

In the 1870 census David (age 50) was the head of household in Putnam, Tennessee, United States.[3] David Whiteaker 50, Annie Whiteaker 38, Crockett Whiteaker 14, Martha A Whiteaker 13, Pleasant Whiteaker 11, Jesse A Whiteaker 9, John F Whiteaker 6, Rachel A Whiteaker 4, Boon D Whiteaker 3, Andy Whiteaker 0.
