Biography
James White was baptised on 25 December 1826 in Norham, Northumberland, England, son of Stephen White and Janet Hamilton[1]
James married Agnes Laing on 3 December 1847 in the parish of Canongate, Midlothian[2]
The couple had one child: Stephen White (born Edinburgh 17 November 1848)[3]
James died in Leith on 27 July 1895, aged 68.[4]
