Biography

He was not the son of Daniel White, as stated in The White Genealogy published in 1895^[1] and subsequent compilations. Thomas the son of Daniel m. Martha Bisbee of Pembroke, Massachusetts.^[2] Birth 8 May 1680 is the birth of the son of Daniel.

Thomas settled in Scituate, Dorchester and Bolton, Massachusetts.^[1]

Thomas was a Cordwainer by profession. A cordwainer is the English term for a shoemaker who makes shoes from new leather.

He married Rachel Horton. Children:^[1][3]

Death

He died 1770.^{[1] [4]} Thomas White's will probated 28 May 1770 and dated 15 June 1770.

William purchased the farm 25 Sept 1770, and agreed to support his mother Rachel until her death. He sold the farm and moved to Templeton. In 1778, purchased land in Marlborough, NH. ^[4]
