Walter may not be the same Walter that dies in Maine. HIs second wife Esther Saunders may have a first cousin with the same name and born around the same time that could also be Walters Spouse. Esthers daughter Mary could have married Clarke Hiscox, or it could have been Mary (Polly), a daughter with Sophie who would have been his daughter with his first wife. A lot is unknown. Once source cites Mary as Walter's sister not daughter, but there is a christening record of Polly White daughter of Sophie, but Walter and both wives are buried in the Major Walter White burial ground in Westerly RI. There is conflicting information. Also Walter could have been Oliver's third child or close to his last as birth dates are conflicting.
