Biography

John Sheridan Whitehurst was born 23, June 1783. He was the son of Simon Whitehurst. His grave stone lists his date of death as October 10, 1878.

NOTE: There are two Daniel Scott Whitehursts in parallel lines down from Simon Whitehurst. Be careful not to confuse them. Here are the lines:

Whitehurst-718 and Whitehurst-295 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, birth and death dates, also same references - I have a copy of an earlier version of the Simon Whitehurst genealogy written by Wesley F. Russell.
