Biography

Joseph was a Friend (Quaker)

Joseph was born in 1774. He was the son of Joseph Wildman and Ann Paxson. A birth record has not been found for him, but his marriage record to Elizabeth Baker gives his parents as Joseph and Ann Wildman, the marriage being performed at the Falls Monthly Meeting on 11 Dec 1799.[1] https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/21923548?h=0fa97e

In 1829 Joseph, his wife Elizabeth, and their 5 minor children, Walter B., Mary, Joshua, Martha and Solomon were given a certificate of removal from Falls MM to Short Creek MM in Ohio.[2][3]

He passed away in 1854. His will was probated on 12 Apr 1854.[4] His will named his wife Elizabeth and children Ann Wilson, Mary and Martha Wildman, Walter B. Wildman, Eliza Price, Joshua Wildman, Solomon Wildman and William Wildman.
