Biography

Eva was born in 1721. Eva is the daughter of Michael Willheit and Anna Hengsteller. She passed away in 1807.

Deposition by the grandson of Eva Wilhoit Holt: Copied: "The Decendants of Michael Holt" By: Mrs A.H. Marshall:

March 1826 Orange Co., N.C., Estate Papers - Nicholas Holt Estate - page 7 - Deposition of James Holt sayeth when asked by defts. agent, how long Eve Holt, wife of Nicholas Holt and mother of James and Francis Holt has been dead, sayeth she died April 16, 1807, that at time of her death she lived with him and his mother and she being his grandmother, his mother requested (?) him. Mr. (?) Holt, to enter hir death. He done so, Signed: Jas. Holt.

(This grandson is also a sibling of Jacob Holt and Ellen Holt Shipley)

Maybe this will be of help.

"1742/3, Jan. 1 - Michael Whillheit of St. Mark's Parish, Orange County (Virginia), in his will of this date gave "unto my Daughter, Eva (now married to Nicolaus Hold) three pounds curency - Lastly - I make and ordain my loving Friend Michael Hold and my Dear Eldest son Tobias Willheit to be Executors." Witnesses: Balthasa Blankenbecker (his mark), John Sneider, Michael Holt" (Will Book 2 p. 87; Dorman p.15).
