Marilyn Rose Willard, the daughter of Clyde and Rose (Folsom) Willard. was born 14 June 1930 in Ripley, Maine.
She married Victor Olmsted and they had two children, Dean and Rhonda.

She was buried next to Victor in Village Cemetery, Charleston, Penobscot County, Maine. [2]
Obituary
Marilyn Rose Olmsted, a resident of Hartland Road, St. Albans, died peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at her home. She was born in Ripley on June 14, 1930, the daughter of Clyde and Rose (Folsom) Willard. She attended local schools and later became a certified nurse's aide. Marilyn worked in a variety of hospitals and nursing homes in Pittsfield, Dexter and Bangor. She loved children and was a "Nane" to many of them in the Pittsfield area. She enjoyed cooking and giving it away to her friends and neighbors. Marilyn was frequently seen walking to the Sunrise Cafe in St Albans, where she loved to eat several times a week.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Pittsfield for many years.
She is survived by a son, Dean Olmsted and his friend Emily Burrill of St. Albans; a daughter Rhonda and her husband, Steve Kinney, of Farmington; a granddaughter, Alicia Jacobs of St. Albans; and three sisters, June Kittridge and her husband, Charles, of Orono, Roberta Olmsted and Brenda Lyons and her husband, Ken, of Dexter; and many friends, family and loved ones.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor H. Olmsted, in 1996 and a sister, Martha Spaulding.
Memorial visiting hours will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel 35 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield, where a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, with the Rev. Brian Rebert officiating.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine, 87 Elm St., Suite 203, Camden, ME 04843 or to a children's charity of one's choice.[3]
