Irene was born in 1880 at Blinman, South Australia. She was the daughter of John Williams and Soffeea Fergusson.
At 23 years of age, Irene married Oliver Huddy in St Matthew's Church, Quorn, South Australia.[1] They had the following children, all born at Quorn:
Irene died in 1956 at Cowandilla, South Australia.[2]
