Hello Steven! Please check your email to find a message from me. (Sometimes they get placed in your spam folder.) I'd like to offer help and address any questions you might have as you continue your journey on Wikitree. Deb ~ Wikitree Mentor/volunteer
Steven,

I noticed that you manage a number of profiles that lack sources, including some newly created Pre-1700 profiles.

WikiTree profiles require sources. It is part of the Honor Code.

All Pre-1700 profiles require Reliable Sources. Projects can provide more details for sources that are reliable for the location/timeframe.

Perhaps someone from the Wales Project could help you.

I don't get much of a chance, I do have a job so because of that amongst other things I haven't had a chance to sort that out. I haven't forgotten to add sources

Hi Steven, where you wanting to join the Australia Project ? This is our Project joining post, https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1689704/the-australia-project-would-love-to-hear-from-you-in-2024

Hi Steven 😀

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Hi Steven!

Eowyn sent me your profile number and said you were interested in finding a connection to AJ. I will look at your tree and see what I can figure out, and if you keep putting what you know in, I know we'll figure it out. If you don't mind, I will also put links to a few of your open privacy profiles on our Cousin Connections table for the Global Family Reunion Project on WikiTree, and a few of our volunteers will help research, too. Let me know if you'd like to join our project here, and I will add the badge, and thank you for joining WikiTree and for your interest in AJ's Global Family Reunion!

Hi

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so donÂ’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
