Mary Williams was born in 1867 at Whatcote in Warwickshire, the daughter of Caleb Williams and his wife Mary Elizabeth, born Mary Elizabeth Blount [1] [2].
In 1881 Mary Williams was living at Wroxton with her parents Caleb and Mary Elizabeth and their other children. Her age was given as 13, implying a birth date in 1867 or 1868. Her birthplace was given as Watcote, Warwickshire. She was at school [2].
