I am a descendant of Ralph de Vernon II Baron of Shipbrook, known as "The Old Liver" because he lived to be a rumoured 150 years old, 23rd great grandfather may I have his long livered life!
I am a descendant of several Magna Carta Barons, Quincy-226, De_Vere-309, Clare-673, Lacy-284, FitzWalter-101, Bigod-1, Ros-149, Albini-39, Clavering-13, Clare-651, Bigod-2, Bohun-7, Malet-18, and Say-76 Fourteen to be exact! Woop woop woop!
10th great grandfather, John Clay/Claye Clay-10 an Ancient Planter who came to the unincorporated colonies in 1613 on the ship the Treasurer and settled in Virginia. This was before the Mayflower. The Clay family is one of the oldest families in America. And this makes Henry Clay Clay-233 and Cassius Marcellus Clay Clay-220 my 2nd Cousins
And Quaker ancestors who were in Laws to William Penn, the Vernons Vernon-179. I am a descendant of John Chandler who was lterally 10 yrs old when he landed in Jamestown. And the Holt/Bayley family, immigrated together.
I didnt know much about about my Main and Lipps family, but now I know more. And that includes that one of my Lipps ancestors lived to be 122 years old, and the state name for Maine, comes from Mayne’s/Maine's Point, (now called Prince Point) land owned by my ancestor, John Mayne/Main/Maine circa 1600's when it was New York. In old maps The state was spelled Mayne and so was my family name. But yet many claim they dont know where the name comes from. Seems like common sense to me. How many people can say that their ancestors settled a state and gave it, It's name. [[1]] [[2]]
And of many people who migrated during the Puritan migration.
My Great Grandfathers who fought in The Revolution. Ezekiel Main Sr Ezekiel Main Sr Joseph Hull Joseph Hull Richard Payton Bailey Richard Payton Bailey Robert C Chandler Robert C Chandler

Just wanted so share a fascinating hidden feature on WikiTree. You can get a report for all yourknown ancestors within 2,000 years by typing this in your URL: http://wikitree.sdms.si/function/WTWebAncestors/errors.htm?WikiTreeID=Cruz-788 (Just replace Cruz-788 with your WIkiTree ID)
I found a 69th generation ancestor. He is listed as King Prasutagus of the Iceni, born 0010 in Icenia, Britannia. (WikiId: Iceni-3).
Iceni were a British Celtic tribe of eastern Britian during the Iron Age and early Roman Era. His history offers a fascinating story about how his wife, Boudici, after her husbands death about 50 A.D., led an uprising against the occupying Roman Empire, and gave the Roman's such hell that she later became a British folk hero.
There are many others to explore
Just wanted to say hello and let you know that were 25th cousins(3 times removed). Our shared ancestor is Alfonso Fernandez ( Castilla) de Leon (Castilla-106), and we share many many other ancestors beyond 30-generations, such as:
Charlemagne Carolingian (Carolingian-77), who is the 10th g-grandfather of Henry Ist, which makes him your 37th g-grandfather!
You may verify it if you haven't already using the websites generation finder tools in the drop down menu.
Wishing you well. Have fun, Cousin!!
Thanks for the response and information. My 4th Great Grandfather John Brink was Horatio Nelsons brother. Interestingly, naming a child Horatio Nelson hardens back to the English heritage of the Conklin family. Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson was the hero of the naval battle of Trafalgar (you may already know)
