Hugh Williams was born in Wales.

Hugh T. Williams was born in Llanfairfechan, Caernarfonshire, Wales on Jan 12, 1853. He was son of Thomas Williams and Annie Williams. He died in Marlborough, New Hampshire, United States in 1928. ^[1]

He was still in Wales by the 1861 UK census. He was 8 and in the household of his father Thomas. The family lived at Lletty. ^[2]
