Biography

Alden Williamson Jr. lived on Rock castle Floyd County Kentucky, now Martin County, Alden Jr. was a farmer. He also traded in real estate considerably as shown by records. Alden Williamson, Jr. was born about 1785, in Virginia,[1] to presumed parents Mary Elizabeth Jackson and [[Williamson-158|Alden Williamson.

  • James Williamson b.1815 married Polly Clay d/o Jordan Clay of Lycans Ridge in Wayne County West Virginia.
  • Sallie born 30 March 1818 married 24 January 1839 to Joseph West born 27 July 1817 in Pennsylvania County Virginia.
  • William born 1821 married July 1844 to Peggy Price d/o Richard & Betty "Vanhoose" Price (William died before 1860 census)
  • Asa Sr born 1827 married 6 December 1869 to Mary Elizabeth Welch born 1845
  • Stephen born 1830 married 21 February 1850 to Ellen Blevins (consent given by Levi Blevins)
  • Elizabeth M. Williamson born 1838 married 5 September 1856 in Johnson County Kentucky to Sylvester Miller a Baptist preacher
  • John Williamson born 1842 (there was no further mention on John. His sister Elizabeth named one of her children John " Big John Miller". He may have passed around this time.
