The 1860 census shows they resided at Rays Fork, Scott County, Kentucky. Living in the household next door to Jno P. and Sarah Massie was Jesse Massie, age 49, born KY. John and Sarah's household also included an unnamed infant daughter age 1/12.[3]
In 1910 she and her husband resided in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois.[4]
