Biography

Abigail was a Friend (Quaker)

Abigail was born on 14d 7m 1735 [14 September 1735] in Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of Jedediah Wing and Elizabeth Bowerman (Gifford) Wing.

Abigail Wing married first Benjamin Gifford on 14 November 1752 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts Bay Colony

She married second Nathan Hiller on 27d 2m 1765 [27 February 1765] in Oblong, Dutchess County, New York Colony

NOTE: Quaker Calendar - "There is much confusion over the dates in Quaker records. Friends used numbered months and days rather than what they considered pagan names for them (i.e. "Thursday" coming from "Thor's Day"). Thus, when the secular calendar was changed in 1752, making January the first month instead of March, Friends began calling January "First Month"."

Wing-1427 and Wing-1027 appear to represent the same person because: Quaker records show Abigail married Mr. Hiller as the widow of benjamin gifford. This is the same person.
