Nancy Wismer is almost certainly not the mother of Henry Kephart, Jr. The above mentioned source, The Brief History of Jacob Wismer (p. 320), says she married a Henry Kephart, moved to VA where the descendants still reside and had children: Stophel and Henry. Stophel apparently did not have any children. Henry Jr.'s wife is not given and it says he had the following children: Polly, Anna, Elizabeth, Nancy, Henry, John, Margaret, and Catherine.

Whereas the Kephart Family History (copy on https://blogspot.kephartbook.com) states that Henry Sr.'s wife is unknown, and that he had children: Henry Jr. and Caleb. No mention of a Stophel. Henry Jr. married Elizabeth Epley (dau. of Conrad Epley) and they had the following children: Conrad Sr., Naugle (my ancestor), Sarah, Caleb, Henry Green, Essington, Jacob W., Catherine, John D., and Mary Ann.

Henry Jr and Naugle both moved to the Dubuque, IA area and are buried in the Cottage Hill Cemetery. There are census and other records to back up the above information. I recall some years ago trying to determine which of five Henry Kepharts was our Henry.

Wismer-254 and Wismer-212 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, duplicated as sibling.
