Katharina Elisabeth Wittmann is a descendant of original Grimm settler Martin Wittmann.

She was born 12 July 1892 in Grimm, Russia, to parents Georg Jakob Wittmann and Anna Katharina (Loeffler) Wittmann. [2]
Katharina Elisabeth married Christian Jakob Dumler and the couple had three children:[2]
Christian Dumler was conscripted into the Russian Army and died as a soldier during World War I in 1917.[2]
On 28 August 1941, Josef Stalin issued a deportation order concerning the deportation and exile of the Volga Germans. [3] Six days later 03 September 1941, Katharina Elisabeth was exiled to Eastern Russia on 03 September 1941.[3] She was eventually settled in Sulemka, Krasnoyarsk Krai, where she later died on 15 September 1981.[2]
