Sarah Ann Wood was born on 20 Dec 1829 in Sorell. She was the daughter of John Wood, boat builder, and Sarah Nash. [1]
Sarah Ann was 23 years of age when she married George James Morrisby on 14 October 1853 in St George's Church, Sorell.[2]
Sarah Ann Morrisby died on 30 March 1876 at Muddy Plains.[3]
DEATHS. MORRISBY.—On Thursday, 30th March, Sarah Ann, the beloved wife of George James Morrisby, of Rose Hill, Muddy Plains, in the 47th year of her age. The funeral will leave the residence of Mr. Arthur Morrisby, Clarence Plains, for St. Matthews' Church, on Sunday, 2nd April, at 2 o'clock p.m. Family Notices (1876, April 1).
