William Raymond Woods, born 24 September 1916, enlisted as a Private with the Australian Army, Service Number V55651 on 23 August 1940. He was a Private with the 6 Battalion when he was discharged on 22 December 1943. The 6th Battalion was garrisoned in Melbourne. Next of kin, wife Beryl Woods. [3] [4]
