Biography

In 1860 he and his parents, two brothers, and his father's paternal grandmother lived on a farm in Pike Township, Coshocton County, OH.

In 1870 he and his parents and six siblings lived on a farm in Fallsbury Township, Licking County, OH. He and Melvin worked on the farm.

In 1880 he and his parents and eight of his siblings lived there on the farm. He and Melvin worked as farm laborers.

In 1900 he and his wife and their four children lived in a house they were renting in Licking Township in the same county. He worked as a dairyman.

In 1910 he and Margaret and their two youngest children lived on a farm they owned, mortgage free, in Perry Township, Licking County.

In 1920 he and his wife still lived there, and their daughter Anna and her husband and their two children were renting from them. Their son-in-law was an oil worker for Emerald Company.
