Son of Tunis Wright (1795-1817) and Delana Granger (1798-?). Pierce married Prudence Wilder Granger on 15 October 1838 in Columbus, Michigan, and they had at least ten children together. ::He worked as "Farmer, Hotel Owner, Post Master, Sheriff, State Representative", and there are two photos of him at his Find A Grave Memorial. He passed away on 30 June 1891.
