David Wright was born Sept. 9, 1763 in Templeton, Worcester County, Massachusetts. His parents were Ebenezer Wright and Lucy Barrett. ^[1]

He married Maria Ann Warner 1793 in Templeton. ^{[1] [2]}

David had the following children born in Templeton:

1. Lucinda Wright, b. Aug. 9, 1788. (transcription error?)
2. Sophronia Wright, b. July 27, 1793.
3. Ebenezer Wright, b. March 27, 1796.
4. David Wright, b. Sept. 26, 1797.
5. Jonathan Orcutt Wright, b. Nov. 1798.
