Biography

Bill Wurts enlisted in the Navy on November 3, 1942 and was released from duty on December 16, 1945. He lived most of his life until retirement in Leadville, Colorado, and worked at the Climax Molybdenum Company. After retirement, he moved to Cedaredge, Colorado, where he died from cirrhosis, a consequence of years of alcohol abuse.
