Biography
Mary (Yates) Wyatt was born in Kentucky.
Mary Blanch Yates, daughter of Thomas Yates and Elizabeth Ann "Nancy" Hayden, was born 16 January 1865, in Hopkins County, Kentucky, United States.[1] Middle name also shown as Blanche in some records.
Blanch Yates married James Buchanan Wyatt on 23 April 1884, in Earlington, Hopkins, Kentucky.[2] The 1900 census shows the couple living in Earlington, Hopkins, Kentucky with their children. She was the mother of eight children, six living at the time of enumeration. In addition, two of her younger siblings, Martha J. Yates (age 29) and Daniel J. Yates (age 25) lived with them.[3]
Mary Blanch Yates, age 80, died 25 November 1945, in Earlington, Hopkins, Kentucky and was buried at Oakewood Cemetery (also known as Earlington Cemetery).[1]
