Frederick Yates migrated from England to Washington, D.C..
Frederick was born in Lancashire, England on 21 Dec 1877.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] and baptized on 15 Jan 1878.[10][11] His mother came to America with the children in 1883[12] joining his father who had come over in 1880.[3] He married first Mary Farr in 1917.[6] Mary passed away in 1942 and he married second Lou Neal in Washington, D.C. on 9 Sep 1944[13] Frederick died in May 1954.[14]
Research Notes
We do not have a marriage record for Frederick and Mary, but the 1930 census shows that the first marriage for Frederick was at age 39.[6] The first marriage for Mary was at age 24 but one must keep in mind that that marriage was to Andrew Archer.
