William was born on the 13th of August 1748 in Field Dalling, Norfolk,[1] where he was christened on 8th of February 1748/9.[2] He married Mary Spooner on the 28th of December 1773 in Horningtoft, Norfolk.[3][4][5] He died on the 13th of August 1830 in Whissonsett, Norfolk.[1][6] He was buried in Whissonsett on the 17th of August.[6]
