-After their marriage, in 1839, Moses purchased a village lot in Lot 25 Cons III at Stoney Creek for 'L'62.10 which he sold in 1841. In 1842, he then purchased another village lot for 'L' 2.10 and took out a mortgage for 'L'60.5 to construct the bulding. He sol this property and, about 1850, moved to Straffordville, Bayham Twp., elgin Co., Ont. In 1853, he purchased the Straffordville Hotel and also establshed a blacksmith business. He was still operating the hotel in 1865, but sold it to move to nearby Corinth where he was operating the St. Lawrence House Hotel in 1817 and renamed it the Price Hotel. The Prices were Methodist in religion. Moses died at Bayham on 17 Aug 1884 and his widow took out Letters of Administartion over his estate. At that time she stated that she owned the hotel in her own right. Mary died on Sep 1899. They were buried in the Cemetery jus east of Corinth.
