Biography

Ralph Yeardley was born in St. Saviors, Southwark, Surrey England in 1549 to Parents William Yardley and Elizabeth Maston Moreton (born Marson). He was a Citizen and merchant tailor of Bionshaw Lane, London.[1] He married his first wife Agnes Abbott on May 15,1575 in St. Mary Woolchurch Haw. London, England. Together they had Catherine Ann (born Yeardley) Irby. Agnes died shortly after and Ralph Yardley married Rhoda Marston..they had 4 sons, "Ralph", John and Thomas Yeardley..who died in childhood and George Yeardley Who became Governor to British Colonial Virginia credited with being one of the original proponents for Organized Representation for the American Colonies, Ralph Yardley died in 1603 in Southwark, Surrey England
